NIC SDTC KOCHI
As part of the Government of India initiative to move on to Digital Payments, an awareness programme was conducted at Kendriya Bhavan, Ernakulam on 23/12/2016 by NIC SDTC Kochi. Mr.Sateesh Kumar, Lead District Manager was also invited to the programme by NIC to interact with the participants.
NIC Kozhikode was actively participated and handled a session on Digital Payment in the ‘Master Trainers Programme’ as part of ‘Digital Literacy’ on 20/12/2016 FN at Nalanda Auditorium, Kozhikode. The training programme was attended by around 200 officials from various department/organization which includes Banks, Lead Bank, Revenue, Merchants Association Kozhikode, Kudumbasree Units and Akshaya Entrepreneurs.
The Digital Payment Campaign at Alappuzha was initiated by the District Administration, Alappuzha District on 17th December 2016. The programme was inaugurated by District Collector (i/c). NIC Alappuzha held various sessions in connection with Cashless or Digital Payment System for the officials of Collectorate, students & staff of S N College Cherthala and officials of Revenue Recovery Requisition Authority.
The Digital Payment Campaign at Kottayam District was initiated by Smt. Beena Ciril Podipara , DIO,NIC Kottayam. Aim of the campaign is to transform India into a cashless economy .First meeting was convened at the Chamber of District Collector Smt. C.A Latha IAS on 17th December 2016 to discuss the action plan for DIGITAL PAYMENT CAMPAIGN. DIO, Lead Bank Manager, DD Panchayat, DPO, ADC General, FO, ADIO, Akshaya Project Manager, Deputy Collectors and Representative from Collegiate Education participated in the meeting. DIO explained the necessities of Digital payment in government departments as well as general public .Decisions were taken to conduct Digital Payment Campaigns with the Support of NIC, Akshaya and Lead Bank as per the following schedule.
District Collector organised a meeting for the implementation of digital payment on 09-12-2016 in his chamber. Dr. Arun, Deputy collector (LR) has been posted as Nodal officer for coordinating digital payment activities In the district. District Coordinator Akshaya presented the various methods for cashless payment. Mr. Jafar Malik IAS (Sub collector Perinthalmanna), Mr. Purushothaman (Deputy collector), Mr. Pradeesh K.P (DIO, NIC), Mr. Abdul Jabbar (Lead Bank Manager), District Information officer, District NYK coordinator and others participated in the meeting.
