Reg-Digital India Celebrations at NIC Kerala

As part of the celebrations in National Informatics Centre across the country, several Digital India programmes have been organized. The state level celebrations in NIC Kerala in the morning with all officers and staff along with user departments from Government was launched with an address by Sri. T. Mohan Dhas, Deputy Director General and State Informatics Officer. He gave anoverview of Digital India and briefed the officers about the activities and services rendered by NIC Kerala over the last four years. Sri. Mohan Dhas emphasized the need to promoteon-demand e-Governance services to public utilizing the Digital India platforms and services. Officers and staff from NIC Kerala and NIC District Centres participated.

In the afternoon, the State level Digital India Celebration was organized with participation from user departments from Government of Kerala. Sri. T. Mohan Dhas, Deputy Director General & State Informatics Officer gave a welcome address. Sri. M. Sivasankar IAS, Secretary (Electronics & IT), Government of Kerala gave key note address and emphasised the importance of application integration, open data , data integration , enterprise architecture etc.
